I'm Owen, the artist and designer behind Rossi Golf. What started as me drawing golf-inspired ideas has turned into apparel, illustration, branding, posters and artwork for people and brands all over the place.
Everything you see from Rossi Golf starts with an idea and gets drawn by me. I like work that feels handmade, has personality and doesn't look like everything else already out there.
Golf is the common thread, but the inspiration comes from way more than just the game — Detroit, old graphics, sports, streetwear, architecture, random objects and pretty much anything I think could turn into a good drawing.
My background is in Industrial Design at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. That's where I learned to think about ideas, form, details and how something goes from a sketch into an actual finished product. During my time there, I created products, three of them related to golf.
Eventually I started combining that way of thinking with illustration and graphic design. Rossi Golf became the place where I could put all of it together — drawing, products, apparel, branding and golf.
Since then I've created hundreds of original designs, worked with companies and events of all sizes, and had artwork used around two PGA Tour events. I'm still doing what I did at the beginning though: sitting down, drawing ideas and seeing where they go.
