This project began as a collaboration with the 2026 John Deere Classic to create a custom illustration for tournament merchandise and a commemorative ticket stub. While production timelines ultimately prevented the design from being used this year, the John Deere Classic gave me permission to share the finished artwork. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity and hope this is the beginning of more projects together in the future.
The design was built around some of the most recognizable parts of the John Deere Classic. The tournament trophy became the centerpiece of the composition, while the iconic oversized driver, a staple of the event, helped frame the artwork. Since the tournament takes place over the Fourth of July weekend, I also included an eagle to represent both the holiday and the tradition surrounding the event.
These mockups show how the artwork was intended to be applied to a tournament T-shirt and commemorative ticket stub. Creating them helped visualize how the illustration could translate onto official event merchandise while keeping the hand-drawn details and overall composition intact.
A great time at the John Deere Classic! Thankful they invited me out to catch the action, it was awesome seeing it live and in person. A day I will never forget.
