I had the opportunity to create custom artwork for a John Deere Classic commemorative ticket stub. It was an honor to be involved with such a special event. I'm incredibly thankful to everyone at the John Deere Classic for the opportunity and for allowing me to share the artwork. I truly appreciate their support throughout the process, and I hope this is the beginning of many more opportunities to work together in the future.
The design was built around some of the most recognizable parts of the John Deere Classic. The tournament trophy became the centerpiece of the composition, while the iconic oversized driver, a staple of the event, helped frame the artwork. Since the tournament takes place over the Fourth of July weekend, I also included an eagle to represent both the holiday and the tradition surrounding the event.
These mockups were created to showcase the custom T-shirt and commemorative ticket stub designs. Presenting the artwork in this format helped communicate the overall vision of the project and provided a better understanding of how the final pieces could come together.
A great time at the John Deere Classic! Thankful they invited me out to catch the action, it was awesome seeing it live and in person. A day I will never forget.
