This custom T-shirt design was created for the Belle Isle Golf Pro Shop. The artwork brings together the course, the surrounding island and recognizable Detroit details through my hand-drawn illustration style.
This t-shirt design was based on an aerial view of the Belle Isle chip and putt course. This design is featured on the back of the tee, while the front of the tee features a scorecard and golf clubs sticking out of the pocket.
These images show how the finished illustration was translated into a wearable design. The goal was to create a shirt that felt connected to the Belle Isle course while still standing on its own as an original piece of artwork.
Seeing the final design come together on the shirt brought the entire project to life. It was exciting to create something specifically for the Belle Isle Golf Pro Shop and celebrate a place that has such a strong connection to Detroit.
