Inspiration and Design Process

Inspiration has always been my biggest thing when it comes to creating art. I am always looking around my surroundings for something that I can somehow tie to golf. This keeps the art unique, as I find that a lot of my art that is "out there" does the best, and gets the best response. Whether it’s the landscapes of golf courses, the movements of a swing, or the culture surrounding the golf, and even the most random things you can think of, I seek ideas that connect golf with artistry. My Detroit roots also play a major role, infusing urban influences into my designs.

Once I have an idea, I move to the sketching phase. This is where rough ideas take shape. I always explore different compositions, perspectives, and themes to ensure that my concept is strong.

After refining the sketch, I select the hats, printing techniques, and placements to make sure the artwork looks as good in real life as it does in digital form. My goal is to push the boundaries of golf art, making it fresh, bold, and meaningful. Something that is unique.
